That House

A BLESSED ONE am I, because...

I have the most caring and supporting man

I have access to a very beautiful city

I have never starved and I had food on the table today -- again!

I always sleep well at night

I have a Mother who is never giving up on me :-)

I have a camera+computer+Photoshop

I have my beautiful, lovely son

I have a project to work on

I have some people believing in me

I have one hundred pens in our home and never have to search for a pen

I have found this engaging blog

I have music in my house

I have a healthy body

I have freedom to speak

I have met so many lovely people through my internet journey

I am surrounded by lots of love!

Note: I didn´t write that "I am happy because of..."

Having a lot of things doesn´t necesarily mean you are happy.

But after writing this list --

instead of searching in vain within myself

for smiles and happiness,

my prayer was that I would use my blessings

for good things.

And my focus changed a bit --

And I could feel some hope and meaning :-)
