New project - Photoexhibition

Yesterday evening
I came up with the idea
of making a photoexhibition
of children
(or maybe mixed ages)
from our suburb.
So today I borrowed some children
and started the project.
Please wish me well :-)

You can click on the images to make them bigger.
Här beskriver jag projektet.

Truth
These days are interresting.
Heavy tears, uncertainity, pain, sadness...
Susan Tutles truths are worthy to read
and Christine Mason Millers little talk is also worth listening to.

Most people just say everything is fine.
Today I talked with a friend who is good to talk with -
She listens. With her you don´t always have to be "vitty and gay".
To her JOY is not the most important thing to strive for.
To her TRUTH is the most important.

I love ingenious, simple, cheap,
durable, inconventional solutions

I had seen the image of this writing hand
and loved it so -
I couldn´t get it of my mind.
It brought me all the joy I needed for a day!
The picture belongs to Victoria Smith in London.

The interiordesigner Michaela Scherrers homepage
is an excellent spot to explore
for anyone in need of light
in this dark time of the year.
She made this ingenious, cheap,
durable inconventional solution
of a bathroom-wall
wich is entierly in my taste!

God,
Please make me a strong, patient, fun and inspiering
tender, interrested, kind and (at most times) sweet mother!

Yours tuly,
Olga

parents I admire:
>> Joel in Portland, OR, USA
>> Alix in London, Great Brittain
>> Magdalena och Daniel in Nairobi, Kenya (but who soon will be in Stockholm)
>> Hans - my man - Noaks father, right here at home with me in Stockholm, Sweden

Nature and Architecture in harmony

I painted this a few years ago.
(oil on canvas 40x50cm)
Now I am painting
the same theme again.

This time I work on six paintings
in the same time.
They are 20 by 20 centimeters.

The challenge is
to paint all of them as a family.
They should look harmonious together
yet each one should be a strong individual.

I already painted one family
of cups of jars.
Some of them are shown here.

And when I have finished these six ones
I will do another six.
Another family...

It is a rewarding and fun job!

It´s been a while now.
You know what I realised yesterday?
That I like this blog!
For me it is easy to be blind
to what I am doing myself.
I need some distance to be able to judge what I am doing.
If it is good or bad.
I have had some distance in time now. I am greatful to blogs!
They help me in my creating "to do better"
I guess that´s called inspiration :-)

I am talking photo and painting.

I can see - thanks to what I have seen in blogs -
that I have a LONG way to go to do the art I really desire.

I can feel for myself
I have alot more artistic capacity
than what I am using.
Much more to express!

I believe I have just started to develop as an artist.
I have started a journey!

Thank you all artists and creative people out there!!!
