Söker jobb

Skickade ansökan i dag
till stadsteatern om jobb som grafisk formgivare.
Man vet ju aldrig...



Efter anställningsintervju i Örebro
och tre veckors väntan
fick jag beked att jag inte får jobb till hösten som skolfotograf.
Han skrev:

"Hej Olga, Tack för din starka intresse,
Det som blev avgörande för din del blev helt enkelt att den andra kandidaten hade skolfoto erfarenhet många år från annat företag som vi avvägde. Som sagt du var och är en intressant kandidat för oss som tyvärr hamnade i andra hand. Blir det avhopp är det du som kommer i första hand som jag hör av mig till.
Tack ännu en gång för dit intresse och välkommen åter även nästa år då vi söker fotografer."

P.S.
Någon vecka senare ringde chefen upp mig och bad mig fotografera för dem. Men då hade jag tyvärr inte möjlighet då jag bl.a. hunnit få två porträtt uppdrag (målningar) samt ett bokuppdrag (fotografering/formgivning).

I just fell in love with a book.

taken of beautiful people in two east African tribes;
The Surma and the Mursi tribes.

They live in the floorishing Omo valley
(Ethiopia, Sudan and Kenya)

These pictures do not reflect the true beauty of this stunning book.
It´just a vague hint...

The sun has been
lightening up my soul
and warming our land
for many, many days.

I sit at the table
with a sence of
contentment and peace
and with a sense of quiet excitement
that softly fills my body.

The trees are turning green.
In the evening the children play in the garden.

And I whisper thankyou
to the one who gives life.
