Am looking forward to
finishing this portrait!
Today I reached the point
when I had filled
all the canvas
with paint.
Now I will be "sculpting" his head
so that it "comes out of the canvas".
I will work with the lights and shades,
with he softness,
with all the small nuances.
And I will be making
Jonnys teeth
alot lighter!
It is the first time
I make a grey background.

For me, it's no grey background at all, it's vivid...layers of colour... and it fits this portrait so well.
