Hello Olga!

I am talking to myself about home and about things to be happy about.

Remember my dear self, when you were young there were times when you really wanted to live in Stockholm. Well, now you are (I am) there! Stockholm is a beautiful city! You are a part of that city now, Olga. Lift your head and be happy!

Remember when you moved into your apartment in August 2004, after having lived in a big old flat in Arvika with high seeling and wooden floors, how practical you thought it was here. Allthough it was smaller here, the space was so much better planned and easier to live in. This apartment is practical!

And what else? This is quite cheap living. The money you save by living here you can use for travelling. (You like travelling you say.)

You can easily live here without owning a car! Twenty minutes with subway and you´re in the heart of the city! It is a piece of cake to travel abroad from your place - you get to the international airport using public transportations within a couple of hours!

Olga you don´t have a house but you have a home! And the sweetest family to share it with :) Lift your head and be happy! See all your possibilities!

What about if you made an effort to...

  • get to know your beautiful city better and learned how to use it?
  • really make your home more cosy?
  • get to know more interresting people around here?

Great post! That couch is to die for!!

Thanks for asking about my guitar and flute playing. I'm a classically trained flutist and self-taught guitarist (I know a few chords to play songs with my kids).

Warmly,
Susan

Dear, the big "but" in your wonderful letter to yourself is popping over to me!! No problem, if you'd nail down the "buts" and put them into a plan!!
I know these things, one puts on the "goodies"-side, but never uses (me also!!)
Truely, if I look at those school-houses, I can't imagine you being happy in a "satellite-town".

And, b.t.w.: this sofa is amazing!!
Lets hop onto it and produce some utopic ideas!!
