Lennart
I met a beautiful man today.
His and his wifes home was full of love. I could feel it. He dreamt about her last night.

I said "you miss her terribly, don´t you?".

His yes was strong. His mourning was strong, painful, yet full of beauty and dignity. And thankfulnes for the 53 years they had shared before she passed away midsummer last year.

I have seen other old ones miss their mates. Mournings - also strong and painful - but with selfpitty, bitterness...

One day, if I am the one to survive my love, I wished I could mourn as beautiful as this man.

Such a touching post, Olga. Yes, I think the best way of honouring a loved one who has passed on is to remember him or her in a positive way. Your portrait of this man is beautiful.

How beautiful!
To love someone for who he is and has been...
...sets him free and yourself, too..

What a difference:
I love you because I need you...
...or...
...I need you because I love you!

Underbart ansikte. Så fullt av livserfarenhet.
Den livslånga kärleken..... som jag ofta undrar över hur den ser ut och verkar. Det skulle han kunna berätta för mig.
Porträttet är mycket bra!
